However, at the beginning of its development, GRUBIN used the word “fusbet” to describe the anatomically shaped interior and supporting elements of the footwear. The word “fusbet” comes from the German word “Fuß” – foot and “Bett” – bed, which in Serbian would mean “bed for the foot”. 

When worn, the anatomically shaped insole places the foot in a natural position, ensuring better body posture, correcting the position of the spine, and thus easing the wearer’s efforts during daily walking or standing for prolonged periods.
