The GRUBIN anatomical insole is at the heart of all our models. Today it is synonymous with exceptional comfort. However, at the beginning of its development, GRUBIN used the word “fusbet” to describe the anatomically shaped interior and supporting elements of the footwear. The word “fusbet” comes from the German word “Fuß” – foot and “Bett” – bed, which in Serbian would mean “bed for the foot”.

When worn, the anatomically shaped insole places the foot in a natural position, ensuring better body posture, correcting the position of the spine, and thus easing the wearer’s efforts during daily walking or standing for prolonged periods.

  1. The edge of the bed – raised particularly high to cradle the foot and protect the toes.
  2. Finger catcher – provides beneficial exercise and stimulates natural rolling motion.
  3. Cross-backbone with metatarsal elevation – helps distribute pressure from the middle of the foot across the entire foot.
  4. Inner and outer longitudinal supports – provide balance to the foot while walking.
  5. The cork and PVC footbed – extremely flexible and offers natural soft protection for the foot, enabling a more natural walk.
  6. Velour leather lining – absorbes sweat and significantly improves comfort while wearing.
  7. Deep heel cup – offers firm support to the foot and stabilizes the heel.
